Microsoft and Sony both showed up to E3 2016, one packing games and new hardware. The other showed up with an endless list of trailers for gamers that won’t be out this year, were impressive. Microsoft finally got it together where Groove Music is concerned too, but more on that plot twist in a bit.

In all honestly, I'm about as big of a Star Trek fan as you can possibly imagine. I've read the novels, I've watched all the series -- sans The Original Series because there is only so much Kirk a sane person can handle. CBS All Access revealed a new Star Trek series was on the way earlier this year. At San Diego Comicon this weekend, the network detailed the title of the new show. See It Soon: Liberty & More Come to Netflix’s ‘Degrassi’
Inside, we're all just teenagers struggling to make it through junior high school and avoid dating everyone in our immediate vicinity. Ok, that's not necessarily true, but back in the early 2000s there wasn't a teen show as popular as Degreasi. Cancelled by Teen Nick and CTV, Netflix snatched up the rights to the half-hour drama a few years ago. First we got an additional season of the show rebranded as Degrassi Next Class. Next week we'll get a special episode of show to mark its 500th airing -- with Page, Marco, Liberty and some of the show's earlier characters.

“Xbox” commands are now in Xbox Summer Update
Microsoft says that the Xbox One Summer Update it announced before the Electronic Entertainment Expo and plans to launch in August, will include an option to let users ditch the Cortana personal assistant and stick to the well-polished Xbox commands that are already available. Traditionally, I don't like to go with overblown headlines and jokes about serious subjects facing the Xbox community. But, you have to understand how much will power it took for me to not begin this news bulletin with a joke about how our "Long international nightmare is over."
