AlbumDrop: Ne-Yo’s ‘Non-Fiction’ review
When done right, artistry is something that evolves and mutates. This mutation is how we end up with second or third studio albums far removed from what we remember an artist starting out as. It’s how we ended up with albums like Ne-Yo’s Libra Scale. Even while I was working on this review of Non-Fiction review I had to constantly remind myself that this isn’t the Ne-Yo we had two years ago or even a year ago. That isn’t in itself a bad thing. I’m glad I held my mind open, because while I don’t like Non-Fiction I appreciate the artistry behind it.

In a land filled with hopelessly mundane children's programming from Netflix and dwindling interest in big-ticket cable subscriptions, having a child in your home can be downright dangerous. Who will save us from losing our minds as millions of kids and tweens fight over the remote for nonexistent Saturday morning cartoons and better plots than Girl Meets World? Nickelodeon just might. During an investor call this morning the children's television network revealed it has a digital streaming service coming to serve households nationwide without a cable subscription.

It's impossible to imagine that at some point in human history no one realized that every good thing has a bad side. Music is a perfect example of that. Good music can change your mood or make you wish you'd never saw -- to say nothing of put on -- a set of headphones. BuzzFeed purveyors of all that is viral, is another good example. Thanks to them we now have a list of the most liked songs on Pandora, and it's uh, a pretty good indicator of where music is at in general.
